Things to eat on the Day of Chemo and following treatment tips
Eat smaller portions more frequently.
Drink fluids between meals instead of with food.
Choose foods you like as long as you do not have dietary restrictions.
Eat at scheduled times.
Try things to enhance smell, appearance, and texture of food.
Eat between meals with high-protein diet supplements(peanut butter, cheese, eggs and fortified milk.
Season foods with tart flavors such as lemon wedges, lemonade, citrus fruits, vinegar and pickled foods.(If you have a sore mouth or throat, do not use tip).
If you experience "metallic" taste in meat, try marinating meat in a reduced sodium soy sauce of fat free Italian dressing.
Try eating foods that don't have strong odors.
Eat foods at room temperature.
Sucking on a thin slice of dill pickle, will sometimes stimulate taste buds.
Fresh vegetables may be more appealing than canned or frozen.
Rinse your moth with tea, ginger ale, salted water, or water with baking soda before eating to help clear your taste buds.

Some people experience an unusual dislike for certain foods, flavors, or odors. This is because unpleasant symptoms such has nausea or vomiting are related to food recently eaten.
Save your favorite foods for when you feel well.
Marinate meats or cook them with sauces or tomatoes to help improve the flavor.
If your like me and aren't able to hold down items such as tomatoes, pickles or things with acid. I always found that simple plain boiled potato always worked for me.
